Just a heads up (it is arcade related as I was shipping arcade parts :D )
I screwed up someone's address by 1 digit and UPS wouldn't deliver the package (fair enough I guess). I was able to fix the address on-line, but
it cost me $11 to do so!!! Which, BTW is slightly more than it cost to ship the thing in the first place.

Moral of the story... double check that you got the address correct before sending a package out the door!

cheers

i could understand a couple dollars (aka less than 5) but 11? wtf...

It used to be free as long as the address change was going to be in the same area, changed a few years ago.

I would ask about that rate. Our charge for an AC is $6, up from $5 a few years back.

that's surprising. like with the postal service, i would expect ups to know the route well enough to realize where you are, and just deliver it properly.

Measuring your ding dong is fine; I definitely don't recommend cutting it though. :-o

Trust me. Compared to dragging it on the ground all the time, a little off the end wasn't so bad. I definitely recommend measure twice, cut once...

Reminds me buying Cold roll steel bars stock at an iron yard.
Guy says to me....It only 1/4 inch short of what you need. So it's ok.
My reply.... If I cut a 1/4 off your dink dong is that ok?

I got my full order..

LOL He keeps cutting it and cutting it and it's still too short.

I hear that. I sold some crap on e-bay, item sold for .99 cents and I charged $6 to ship. Anyway she didn't change her address in paypal and didn't tell me about it. A week later i get an e-mail from her saying that i have to call ups because they left a note at her apartment complex's office that they won't deliver it without me changing the address. Long story short she moved two apartments down from the address she provided. I had to pay $12 to get the address changed. i would have just let them return it to me but they said that would cost me $12 for return postage. so that sale neted me -$4.01. on top of that she didn't even leave me any feedback.

I got one today;

"I changed my address On my amazon account, but this
order must have been processed before that hapenned. The Erie address is my prior residence."

Here's the good part. The package was returned "Forward Expired" which means she moved *over* a year ago.
