A local seller has a full size upright Missile Command, says the screen "rolls", the first number he threw out when I asked him how much was $500 - too high for me, but I was wondering given condition what would you guys think its worth? I was thinking if everything else was working and the cab was in good shape- $300-$350 going down from there depending on condition... Anybody got any ideas on what the monitor problem is? I'm guessing there is no "vertical hold" pot on those monitors...

Ahhh yes, M.C. has evolved into my favorite classic 80s game. 100% working I would expect that to fetch ~$250 to $350, perhaps a bit more if in excellent condition (which this one DOES NOT appear to be). Not working 100% I wouldn't pay over $150 to $200 for it. M.C.s have never brought in that much. I've owned 3. I paid $40, $125 and $400. $40 was for a "non-working" cabaret from a closing arcade that worked fine once the board was connected to the wiring harness. $125 was for a 100% working UR in nicer condition than the one in your picture at a garage sale. $400 for my current cabaret in very nice (I'd say B+ to A-) condition. I'd hold off at that price...

The problem might just be the vsync needing adjusted... but as usual, don't bet on that being the case!

A real nice one is worth up to around $500, one that is average and had some problems is worth maybe $100-200.

I'd give a little more than just the standard non-working price of 50-100 bucks since the screen is just rolling. I'd say 200 in general OK condition, and 300 if the cab/artwork/CPO is in really good shape. The rolling is a minor issue.

I like how some of the older stuff gets low value quotes, but the working boards to repair what you've got are somehow always worth over a hundred bucks.
