Upright Asteroids with Braze Multi kit. Way Nor Cal

This item is no longer for sale

Up for sale, (MMAO) or some sort of trade + or - cash, is an Upright Asteroids with a Braze Multi kit installed. The kit is one of the test versions but works great and I believe has the most updated version.

I will consider just selling the kit with the PCB for the right offer.

The G05-801 monitor has been completely rebuilt with new caps (including the two large blue caps) and the output transistors all have been replaced. All header pins have been re-flowed. I re-capped the the main PCB board, replaced the Big Blue on the power brick and installed a new power cord. The cardboard monitor bezel is brand new reproduction (Arcade Shop) and the monitor screen has zero burn. Looks beautiful! Things that could be done to this that I have not done yet is: recap the power supply board, replace the buttons with new ones, wire in the coin door and replace the one drilled out metal coin trim piece (you can see it in the pictures). I would also be tempted to replace the T-molding (original but in good shape).

Shoot me a PM with any questions or offers. I am willing to work with someone if they want to ship it. I will wrap it up with some plastic wrap, but you would need to arrange (and pay for) shipping.

Games I am looking for: A nice condition Centipede, Missile Command cockpit, Atari Video Pinball, Rip Off, Orbit, Atari Pong, Midway Invaders From Outer Space EM, Black Hole pinball.

Where did you acquire the kit from, directly from Scott or from one of the many that was selling them on the Black Market like Roadrunner ? At the time they were selling the kits for around 100 to 150.00, so Working Atari Board and Kit probably worth about $250.00, with no tech support or repair service available would be too much of a gamble to pay more.
