Im trying to get my Bally Vector to a state where I WANT to play it.

As it sits it just doesnt feel right and I ignore it.
I rebuilt the flippers and there are 2 new coils installed.....problem is, I dont think the flipper is strong enough to move the pinball up the many ramps the game has.

It currently has AQ-25-500 34-4500 coils.

If I wanted to move the ball a little faster, what coil (or additional parts) would I seek to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't go with stronger coils than the game originally used, as it was tested and designed for a certain strength of coil. You could end up getting a high amount of airballs or possibly broken plastics.

Are the coils you have now the correct ones that originally came with the game? If not, maybe you're using underpowered ones, but I wouldn't go with things that are overpowered.

What about your playfield angle? Is it too steep?

Stupid me for not checking that first.

I use my basement arcade in the fall through winter, then completely dummy up in the summer.
Ill report back.

Is the angle of the playfield correct?
Maybe if its 6.5 degrees try 6

Bally factory setup is 6 degrees. To check that you can read Adams family manual. Addams came with a bubble level for that purpose.

Well, the angle was waaaay off.
I adjusted it, waxed it and now it plays incredible.

I feel like a dummy but its fixed so I dont care :D
