I am wondering if anyone else on this forum has upgraded a Hard Drivin' cockpit to a Race Drivin'?

Before I changed out the pcb the shifter worked fine, but once I put in the RD' pcb the shifter is very erratic and just around like it is changing gears back and forth with no movement of the shifter. I have purchased a spare main RD' board and DSK and it does this action with the spare boards as well.

Has anyone else replaced a HD' board with a RD' board without changing the shifter out? If so did they have an erratic shifter after doing so? Is there maybe any adjustments I can make to the shifter to get it to work correctly?

Not being rude, but I know there are differences in the shifters. The RD uses a solenoid and the HD uses a magnet. I must have done a poor search because I could not find anything regarding my question when I looked.

Thanks!

dont you need to relearn the shifter?

go into test mode, you should have a option to relearn the braking force, steering, shifter, etc.

Well wouldn't that figure. The seat magnet and wiring going up to the abort and seat adjust button is gone in my ride. I can make the menu go up and down after replacing the coin slot mechanisms, but I cannot select anything.

Thanks cadillacman
