Has anyone ever replaced the 19" K4915 in their Super Sprint with a 25" K7500. I know that the 25" won't fit in the monitor head/box, but I have been fooling around with this idea for the past week.

Tonight I attempted to hook up the K7500 monitor, but I can't seem to get it to sync up. I can see a picture on the screen but I can't get the vertical hold to steady the screen. Now I could just be an idiot and not have the syncs hooked up properly, but I have tried every configuration possible on the monitor sync pins without any success.

The super sprint has both a H and V sync and I have never quite understand how the whole sync thing works even after I read the tutorial on Bob Robert's page.

Does anyone know if this is even possible or have any recommendations to try to get the sync issue resolved?

I'd love to have a bigger screen for my sprint. What was atari thinking making a multiplayer game with that small of a monitor? lol

tj wired up super sprint base to a 33" off road thunder monitor half at cax.. Thats a much newer monitor that the orignal super sprint. I can ask him if there was anything odd about connecting it..

Pretty sure you can fit a 25" into the sprint head. probably have to nock out the back of the cab to do it.. I have trashed SS cab I am going to crush. I could shove a 25" shelf mounted frame into it and take a pic to see how it would fit...

No luck with the upgrade but I havent spent much time on it. The cabinet head from my preliminary measurements is too short for a 25" monitor but i wanted to see if anyone had any success with the larger monitor before i spent time making a new cabinet head.

At this time the board isnt working right so it hasnt been high on my priority list.
