Updating my Playchoice pcb to the free play vios version 1.1 - what do I need?

I'd like to upgrade the bios on my Playchoice pcb to version 1.1. I burned a copy of Oliver's bios on to a 2764 chip, and it worked fine, but it doesn't play well with 2600's NES cart adapter.

2600 sent me a copy of the v1.1 bios. Do I use the same size chip, a 2764? Or do I need to be using something different? I tried burning the image file to the same 2764 that I used for Oliver's bios and it wouldn't work. I tried erasing the chip and putting Oliver's bios back on - no problem. Erase the chip and put the v1.1 bios on there, and no go.

What gives?

EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. I need to be using a 27128 eprom for this, not a 2764.

I had a spare one in the cab (from a Tennis to DK conversion that Vader1979 bought before giving me the cab) so I grabbed the 27128 from the Tennis roms, and burned up the new bios chip. Everything works perfectly now.

Big thanks to 2600 for getting back to me so quickly.

I now have my Playchoice cab running 2600's nes cart adapter, with the Powerpak inserted, with all the US NES games on it. Every NES game ever made, available for play on my Playchoice. I'm super pumped.
