Seeing if the list we have (without me posting in it) is up to date for people that repair stuff and what they work on. I don't see many updates in the past few years and not sure everyone still works on the stuff from their original posts years ago...

Might not be a bad idea to just close that thread, start a new one, and link the old thread to the new one.

Just a thought, as I don't know how much of the info in that thread is still accurate, and how many of those people are still active. (I'm sure any info of mine there is outdated, but my repair info is in my sig.)

I'd be happy to contribute to a new thread, if one was started.

Change "thread" to "sticky".

Uh, I know it's a sticky. Not sure what your point is.

Much of the information in it is years old, and of uncertain validity today.

Have a mod un-stick it, and post a final note in it that announces it's closed, and add a pointer to a new sticky. Everyone in the old thread who is still here gets a notification, and can copy (and update) their info to the new sticky.

And anyone new that wasn't in it can add their updated info as well. You can also add a pointer to the new sticky, just for historical reference, but the result will be refreshed information, as that sticky is a bit stale.

+1 to what Andy said. So much of that thread info is obsolete.

This is a great idea.

I have three Tempest boards that need repair and have yet to find someone.....
