I just added a few more books to my Classic arcade book collection.
Note, these are only books I own, and also I started the page about 10 years ago. It looks old.

If nothing else, check out the Link to the Video Player's Back Pocket guide books. It was a series of six different books. And is the only book I now of that had a guide just for Tempest...
This series is so hard to find, I still need two more to complete it, and I've been searching for years.

Hey -- didn't know you were on KLOV. I've used your page as a starting point to help track down titles for my own collection. Its a great reference.

Do you also have Playboys Guide to Rating the Video Games", "Defending the Galaxy" (my personal fav.) and "Screen Play - the Story of Videogames"?

Yeah, Thanks
My old video games webpage are so fricken OLD!!! I think most are from 1995, with only minor updates.. Keepin' it old school!!!

I don't collect old cartridges anymore, I actually sold off 95% of my collection. I did before the Atari 2600 market collapsed.

But I still LOVE and collect the books..

The 2600 market collapsed??

I've been casually collecting the old console for years. Have just about everything I want so I don't really pay attention anymore. Occasionally, I'll fill a hole and get a boxed copy of something I don't have (a rare-ish Imagic title or something) and the prices seem high to me.

I've known about the Video Players Back Pocket Guides for a while but haven't been able to find any. I've had an Ebay search setup for over a year and no hits yet...

Yeah, I know the ERs still sell, but when it was REALLY hot I could make $100's off of so many titles. $1000 for one cartridge was my highest. Sure it was a prototype, but insane. It seems to me that the Nintendo 8bit Cartridge has taken over.
