Using tubular.atomized.org for cross referencing.

RCA Tube is a A63ADT10X05 OHMS are H 1.5 (1.6) V 5.5 (5.6) (= fluctuation) CR23 socket 6.3v Heater G1 50v

DONOR TUBE

Sharp A63AEH20X OHMS are H 1.6 V 7.0 CR23 Socket 6.3v Heater G1 50v

Will this tube work?

Ive even got a couple pics included. The tube with the convergence rings is the Sharp, the tan neck board is the QNICs.

UPDATE: Just did the swap today. Get nothing but a bright white screen (brightness knob on flyback will turn it black). The orig RCA tube is weak (a little better after a rejuve, but still weak, red gun I believe I was told) Youve got to max out the contrast and brightness on remote board and brightness on flyback to get a good enough picture that you can leave room lights on and see image but colors are way washed out. When you do get colors looking good the room has to be completely dark for image to look good. The new Sharp tube is good, came from a working donor TV. So, do I need to get a K7000 chassis and dump this QNIC. Swapping the yoke seems pointless since the Red gun has issues in it. Any Thoughts?

i would give it a shot because your well within tolerances and if it doesn't swap the yoke. (you may have a bonded yoke on the left picture so hopefully you don't have to swap the yokes because they are tough but not impossible)

Thanks for the info. I have 2 of these QNIC chassis and 1 (the RCA tube) being looked at for color issues (too much red output, both chassis do this, so tube issue). so I'm trying to make 1 into a back up/replacement or at least have another in case I find a cab with no monitor/chassis.

LATEST UPDATE.... It worked, it helps if you have the sync wires not off by 1 pin. Up and running with outstanding pic!!!
