Untested Atari ARI and ARII boards $15@

I have a VERY LARGE lot of untested ARI and ARII boards that I will never get around to testing. Some will need R29 or R30 replaced, others might need capacitors replaced or might be missing a transistor. Many will have no signs of issues at all. Most of these came from operators who pulled them from games where they sat on a shelf for the last 20 years until I acquired them. I have a large quantity of ARII-1 and ARII-2 and a smattering of the other versions. The ARII-3 and ARII-6 are $25 each however due to their scarcity. I don't think I have an ARII-5 and cannot say if I have ever seen one. However, if you need one be sure to ask as I haven't inventoried all of these yet. If you don't know which version board you need, you can check your manual or Alex Yeckly's site. ( http://elektronforge.com/AudioRegs.htm ) I know for a fact that many Missile Commands do not like anything but an ARII-3. The ARII-2 is a great universal replacement for most other games. If you order one or two, I will probably ship in a priority mail box. Anything more than that will ship via UPS Ground.

I have approximately 20-25 ARI boards available in different configurations. I have a couple of the Lunar Lander style and about an equal amount of the Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe styles. Again, if you need a specific version of board, be sure to be specific. ARI-1 are for Asteroids and ARI-3 are for Asteroids deluxe. The Lunar lander style is for the pinout with the 4 pins in a row on one of the connectors. (J8) I will have to reconfirm this information when I dig them out. All the ARI are $20 each.

Shipping is obviously extra. Prices above include an offset for PayPal fees so you can pay directly after I get you a quote for everything. Just send your want list to me via PM. I will pull boards that are fully populated or maybe have a burned resistor (as determined with a quick scan) and as the stack dwindles, I will sell the ones missing a cap or two. If it is vital you have only fully populated boards, be sure to let me know in your request. I won't sell a board missing lots of components. If however you are in the rebuilding business, I have about 10 of various styles I can sell for $10 each.

Local pickup is free and you get the option of digging thru the boxes. Currently have about 120 of these boards to sell. I'm willing to estimate that about 40% of them will work just fine. However, if you are buying these to replace yours with the burned resistor, you will just have the same thing happen to this ARII board unless you fix the edge connector on your main harness to the circuit board.

If you have questions, please post them here so that others might benefit from the answer. Boards are for the most part clean and presentable. Remember, these are truly untested. If you must have a tested working one, I recommend you look elsewhere. I am too busy now to test/fix these.

Bump for visibility and price adjustment. All boards are now $15 each plus shipping. Lot easier to figure out. If you buy 20 or more, I will pay for ground shipping. I have sold 10 of these already so with the price reduction, I imagine these will start to move a little quicker.

However, I will not be able to ship until the 3rd week of March due to a vacation. Make your list and I will fill them in the order received.

Thanks

Okay, back in business now that I have caught up on my flying schedule and got my taxes done. AMEN! Again, these are $15 each + shipping unless you buy in large quantities. If you aren't sure which board you need, find a copy of the manual online and it will tell you. If you still aren't sure, PM me and we can figure it out.

Do you have a nice looking A/R II revision 02 for sale? My ROTJ needs one.

I have lots of ARII boards that look nice. I've pulled 4 boards in the last few weeks and all of them worked. Of course I made sure there were no burned resistors and everything was there but was pleasantly surprised at the success rate. I cannot of course guarantee that ones I sell will work but these are pretty hearty as long as you have good connections, I'd say you have a darn good chance of getting a good ARII board.

All my ARI-1 (Lunar Lander/Early asteroids) are sold and I only have 2 ARI-3 Ast Deluxe boards left for sale. Still lots of other boards at $15 each plus shipping. I can fit 6 in a large flat rate USPS box for $17 shipping. Probably better to ship UPS ground for that quantity.

I should have picked up some of these from you the other day.

I doubt I will run out of these any time soon except for the previously mentioned ones. I have a few in reserve of the ARI's mentioned so if I really need one, I have it.
For you sir, I would part with one.

Awesome, I will take you up on that :)

I have no spare ARs yet. The one in the BZ mini wasn't outputting 5v so it went on the "to repair" stack. I temporarily pulled the one from my Space Duel so I could test everything in the cabinet after I fixed the board set. I'll probably need a handful of ARIIs and would love to get an ARI for my Asteroids, as a back up.
