I was in the universal studios arcade as you exit Dr. Dooms ride.

Played a few games of shrek... Got to free replays... before my kids drove me crazy asking for tokens.

I saw a large group of young men come into the arcade. they were all standing around a dozer machine that pushes tokens. Making a bunch of noise. I didn't think much of it.

Next thing I see was all of them just spread out and started playing games.
As I walked out I noticed a peice of glass was removed from the pusher and kids were grabbing hand fulls of tokens from the open machine.

I did report the open machine to the attendant. He was not thankful, frankly he was kind of an ass. I think he thought I was crazy. I don't know if he left it unlocked or those boyz firgured out a way to open it.

I don't know much about these machines, but it left me wondering if this is a common problem.

It sounds like an inside job, but the tokens are all going back into machines, so they really aren't stealing or ripping off anything, technically. Still kinda messed up.

ok, so there's a pretty good chance I'll be at universal studios later this summer. Arcade worth the trip?

I will be there tomorrow. Daughters want to see victorious.. Yeah fun!!! Me and my son will be looking for arcades and stuff to do!!

It Happens. More so in "rougher" neighborhoods. Where theres a will, there's a way. It just messes up my paperwork and gives me something else that I must fix. I'd rather they tell me their plans and I'd hand em a bucket of coins to save the headaches.

Same applies when the bring Tokens from other facilities. Can easily add an hour to my already 12hour Monday's. Having to sort em all out by hand. And if you miss one, like Dave n busters, it'll jam my token dispenser at cash register...

Not much of an arcade, mainly redemption with a couple of shooters and a Shrek. Don't expect much. There is another Shrek but I forget where right now. There is no real arcade to be found anymore.

The Shrek machine is all I played; they had a T2 game that look badass. Walk in and look around. There are two at the ends of The mummy and the Dr. doom ride.

Shrek outside of the Mummy had the right flipper stuck. No attendent to fix it.

Buy the Express pass if you can. You can walk on the rides with no more than a 5 minute wait. You'll be in the universal studios side. Simpsons ride is kick ass, Mummy is good, and the Rip Rockit roller coaster is worth the price of admission. Best roller coaster I have ever been on. (no express pass on the Rip Rockit.)

I am heading back in pretty soon for the T2 show. My daughter and wife are at the Victorious Q and A special right now and will be at the concert as well.

I am going to be with my boys. I will have a stupid looking brown snoopy shirt on that says "hard work never hurt anybody, but why risk it."
Introduce yourself if you get the chance.

Looks like daughters don't want to stand in rain. Plus ones sick. Maybe next time. We have season passes so will be there lots more. Have fun and try to stay dry!

It has rained here almost everyday since we came to the Studios. However it seems to be be holding off for now.

I think my wife is crazy for standing in those lines.

next time I come this way I am bringing a trailer. Way more for sale down here than in iowa

I know that's right. Every time I turn around something's for sale and cheap. I have to learn the word no or don't need!! LOL

I remember standing in the lines at Universal Studios. They actually send somebody around with a tray that tries to sell you $5 bottled water while you're waiting.
