"Universal" Mr. Do - All original - F/S - North NJ

Beautiful Mr. Do. Been in my home arcade for years. Running out of room so it has to go.

Here's the maintenance on this machine:

hand picked all caps for monitor and replaced all.
new power cord
rebuilt power supply
Has both Mr. Do and Mr. Do's castle boards mounted inside. Just needs harness
swap to play either one.
Both board have Jrok's Hi score NVRAM save installed. No need for batteries!

header and bezel as well as control panel are minty mint!

Nice cab. Some bumps/bruises but extremely clean.

Missing one side of T-molding. Never was able to secure it from anywhere.

$800 cash/carry for this machine. Located in North NJ. Pics on request.

Pics

Here's the pics. Really nice and clean!

Very nice machine.

This is the original joystick and button.

No, it is not...

The button is obviously different from the original because Universal NEVER used that type of button on Mr. Do. The stick appears to be the same as a Lady Bug stick which is also not the original stick that came with dedicated Mr. Do machines. You do however see the Lady Bug stick on many Mr. Do machines because players and operators did not like the feel of the original black teardrop top stick. If you look in the dedicated Universal MR. Do! manual you will see the breakdown for the original stick and is it very different from what is on your machine.

Geez, why are you guys hating on this dude's sale. Pretty uncalled for.

Seriously! Nice game you have there. It's a button and a joystick in contention anyway. The game looks great! And if ops switched the sticks out all the time there should be many laying around in warehouses or at game part sellers to change to any buyers liking.

I don't see questioning price and condition as "hating on" someone's sale.

I'd be perfectly okay with people doing this in any for sale thread I make on here. *shrug*

I kind of agree, but the OP had to say it was original 3 times. He feels it is original and others do not. I guess I'm just of the camp that doesn't think an issue should be debated in a person's for sale thread. Stated, sure that's another story. Just my opinion, but you have a good point. It just gets annoying when you see a really nice looking game and people pick at stuff so small and that is easy and low cost to replace and they never comment on how nice the rest of the game looks.

True dedicated Joystick with stamped universal dust ring........ Clean machine though,I shall have one some day.

True - and this machine looks much nicer than most dedicated Mr. Do's I've seen.

My guess is that the nitpicking is being done because of the asking price...
