What I have and I am thinking of passing on to the Universal collectors of the world is a dedicated Japanese (works here) Magical Spot II with a very nice monitor. Overall the condition is very nice, with the exception of the chromed legs are not that great, however the rest of the table/cabinet is clean with the Universal decals/art. What do you think? I have not seen any for sale anywhere and the board seems pretty scarce. It works really well - slight hum. I have no idea how to get into the cab itself to check it out or to flip the credits, although I did play it in the past awhile ago. Thanks as I am thinking of letting some of the collection go and collect funds for a vector Star Wars.IMG_7705.JPGIMG_7708.JPGIMG_7700.JPGIMG_7717.JPGIMG_7715.JPGIMG_7721.JPGIMG_7705.JPGIMG_7708.JPGIMG_7700.JPG

I don't think it would be a tough sell to right person seeing that there are none for sale in the entire world (or even pictures) and there must be someone who grew up with this or some Universal fanatic who doesn't have it. I figured out the hum - I think it's still Japanese 100V so I'll get an inexpensive step-down and I bet that this would get rid of the hum and I think this is the issue. Monitor is surprisingly nice and clear color.

I guess I can chime in as I have one of these. Mine is nicer, dedicated, all correct parts, etc. It's the US version and it's part 1 not 2. I wouldn't sell mine for less than $1500. Yours I could see going for $900 to the right person.

Thanks for the reply. Wouldn't this be a dedicated cocktail for this game though? Under the game info here it has this exact same cocktail under Magical Spot II. I suspect that they did not make dedicated art for Magical Spot II as I have looked and have not seen any. I believe the theme here is "to the right person" as it's a game that most people never heard of or maybe played.

I should have clarified that unless you can verify it shipped with that top, there are going to be questions. That's the biggest impact on price.

Here is mine with the correct top for reference.

I'm not saying your top is wrong, I am saying people are going to assume it's wrong unless there's some evidence.

to right person
This is why it would be a tough sell. You'd need to find that person. Rare doesn't always equate to valuable. Supply can be low but if demand is also low, so is the value in most cases.

Then add in the question about the top, and it becomes a tougher sell.

Real neat cab though.

Well there is no way to verify if it shipped with that top. I can only find one photo anywhere on this cocktail (two with yours) - and it doesn't have that top. Is your top particle board or real wood? This is real wood. At least it would have to have a glass put on.

Do you know how to open this thing? I just wanted to take some inside photos as well. I have no idea how to open it.

I've never done anything except stuff it into my storage unit. I don't know anything about it, but it shouldn't be hard to find the manual online.

Bruh, thats a homemade top.

Seen hundreds of cocktables, they all have glass tops. Put that on location and it would look like hell with everyone's initials carved into it. Never mind that you can spill your drink directly onto the monitor and everything else inside the cabinet. Its not even cut straight.

That solves that.

So we've got a brick top telling a guy with a wood top he should have a glass top.

Good job noticing the hole for the monitor being cut weird btw. Didn't see it first glance myself.
