Another day, another awesome game needs a new home. This game is beautiful game and a magic eraser with make the sides like new again but I never bothered. Plays perfect , monitor bright and crisp. Love the sounds in this game, and did I me tion the art is incredible?

Asking $1500 and we'll worth it . Not in my way as long as paid for you or your driver can pick up anytime you like ,literally any time, days weeks ,monthes whatever.

Only selling to fund a vector purchase on my list after visiting and playing at the Ghalloping ghost. If you can guess which vector first try I will knock $100 off! Good luck.

Also have a Dealer's Choice EM needs a new home. Works perfect, Awesome colors-

No love for Cosmic Avenger?

I actually really wanted to use this cab for a Franken Mr. Do. I love that game but alas I can't find the backglass in the middle for Mr. Do.

Anybody have one?

Otherwise I'm gonna say $1250 for a great game.

cabinet dimensions are different (albeit subtle) along with (obviously) the internals for the monitor orientation and things like the distinctive Universal inner bezel (which, memory serving, is slightly taller for the horizontal cab). i didn't notice this until years after owning both types and seeing them lined up together.
with enough hacking anything can be converted but per my understanding it'd probably be more than just a CP and art swap

Good to know, what are the differences ?

That's good to know. If I was gonna convert one I would like the right cab.

The problem is the market is soft right now. Wait a bit.
Wait and then the thousands of dudes who love Cosmic Avenger will come?

People sell stuff daily. How many people are searching out CA?

I don't think this has anything to do with the market, and everything to do with a game that has a tiny audience of fans - and many of those folks probably already have one.

No love for Cosmic Avenger?

Since you asked, not that I've ever seen. Cosmic Avenger was my first * free* game. Played it a few times and started converting it to Mr Do! Didn't get halfway through the conversion (couldn't find the back plexi or graphic bezel) and sold the game as-is for $250. Later I attempted to sell the CA parts. Marquee, bezel, PCB. Took a long time to sell those for little of nothing. Mr. Do! or Lady Bug seem to be the only Universal games anyone knows or cares about. Try advertising on the Euro market, you might get lucky, they seem to buy anything.

I'm starting to enjoy playing it might just hang on to it. , new title for me as well. I enjoy having a universal cab around they are pleasing to the eyes.

I never saw CA in my area growing up and I was in the arcade a ton. I finally did see it on Coleco Vision. I didn't realize it was an actual arcade game conversion back then. I thought it was just made for the home market and thought it was a scramble/defenderish rip off and felt cheated. It is definitely a cool cab. I think for a lot of collectors it just wasn't a game people saw in the arcade growing up so there isn't the nostalgia. Good luck with the sale.

I know everybody comments on it when they are in the arcade here. Even amidst the titan classics. Some reason exidy lists it pretty high along with Mr. DO and a few others from universal.
