*Universal* collection

It's one option I am considering

yeah, while these universal games are generally horrible the fact that they have beautiful art is reason enough to not part one. Plus if you donate it you can likely get a write off on your taxes. Probably for more than the game is usually valued to the klov crowd.

Donate it to ACAM at Funspot?

They're in Laconia.

Hate to see such a rare game get parted out and destroyed when the world's best classic arcade museum is so close to you.

Hell donate $25000 to me and I will restore my games and open up a game museum LOL. Looks interesting never heard of it before shame it's so far away.

I have to say if they took as much time into programming the games as they did into making the cabinets look amazing then we might be talking about Universal as one of the top game makers today.

Mr. Do and Ladybug are two of my favorite games. However, Space Panic is better on the Colecovision than on the dedicated cabinet!

Speaking of Universal games, does anyone have a set of Magical Spot boards they are willing to part with? We had a nice Magical Spot cabinet donated but it is missing the boards.

Looks like it is going to ACAM (Funspot)

I bought a Centipede that was missing it's original glass marquee but was replaced with a glass with a generic meteorites CPO material stuck over top. I peeled it off and cleaned it up and surprised to this marquee in great shape.

Is this the elusive Ladybug everyone is talking about?

A friend of mine was selling this but the buyer never showed and has not replied to PM's or e-mails.

I found out today that he has brought it back to his house. Not sure if it's still for sale or not.

I'm trying to find out...... :(

Looks like one of those bootleg style cabs. Mr. Do, Spiders, Crazy Kong and Crazy Junior have shown up in those cabs.

Does anyone have pictures of a Lady Bug cabaret?

I know they're out there. (King of Kong lol!)

Don't know if this is factory or conversion, but here's one that was at Star Worlds Arcade in Dekalb IL.

Awesome. Thanks man.

I've donated a couple of games myself (Forgotten Worlds and a sitdown Crazy Taxi). It's pretty awesome to see them in use in a great arcade where people can enjoy them everyday. And ACAM puts a little plaque on top of donated games with the name(s) of the donor(s), which is very cool.
