Finally got a Universal cab to put the Cosmic Avenger stuff I have had sitting around for years into. But Murphy's law it was a Devil Zone so is vertical monitor.
I thought of doing a Ladybug, but I just don't want to ship that much stuff again.. So looking to rotate the monitor.

I am not sure what I have is original as far as mounting, but it sure does look so. I cannot see any easy way of just pulling out the monitor and rotating it by moving the brackets or something simple..there are lots of wood pieces. Does anyone have, know, or can take any pics of the way the monitor is mounted from the back, and maybe the face area without the bezel?

On this there is also a lot of very thin wood stapled around the monitor under the bezel. Since the bezel would probably cover anything around the monitor, is this necessary and on an original Cosmic Avenger?

I sent a PM; sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but I will fire off some pics of how the monitor is mounted in my Cosmic Avenger cab for your reference!

When I converted my CA to Mr. Do!, I had to pull the plywood monitor mounting board and cut a vertical hole that crossed the Horizontal one already cut for CA for the monitor to mount vertically, I assume you'd have to do the opposite.

BTB, I still have the original inner bezel from my Cosmic Avenger. The big black plastic piece with mounting pegs and protective foam strips on the tube side. I also have the CA graphic tempered glass bezel in very nice condition.

I've got a friend with a Universal cab and no monitor. He's planning on making it a Ladybug, but we don't have any idea what the monitor mounting setup looks like. I've PM'd a few folks, but never got any pictures. I've not found any decent photos online either.

Pics of how it's supposed to look would be awesome, since we'll be trying to make it from scratch.

Here is the monitor in a vertical orientation. I can try and get you the dimensions of the triangle blocks used to level the monitor to the bezel.

I still have not seen any pics on horizontal mount so if anyone has any that would be great.

Thanks for those! I wasn't expecting a metal surround, I figured it would be all wood.
