Hello,
I am new to this formum thing and am posting for the first time. I have a 1961 United Tip Top ball bowler that was in excellent condition and worked perfectly until one of the coils stuck and melted one of the reels. The reel that shows the number of players completely melted away and dripped onto the reel that shows the current frame. The player reel has the numbers 1-6 with the number 6 repeated 3 or 4 times. The frame reel has from 1-10 (instead of 1-0 like the score reels). They are white 5" reels with black 1" numbers. I may end up taking a score reel and removing the 7-0 for the player reel, and adding a 10 in place of the 0 to make the reels that I need. However I would like to find the correct reels to bring it back to original. A ball bowler or shuffle alley of that era should have what I need. Any help would be appreciated. (BTW, some frame and player reels during that time spun horizontally. I need the ones that spin verically like the score reels).
