I picked this up a long time ago and it's been packed away. Doing some cleaning today and came across this. Thought people might be interested to see how a kit came and how it was packed. Snapped some pics of a 35+ year old NOS/NIB conversion kit.

If you like Q*bert, give this game a try in MAME, I think you'll like it.

Nice. I had a NOS Bogey Manor kit once. Ended up opening it, smelling it and trading it away to Anthony at Quarter Arcade. Sometimes I wish I still had it. Are you going to find a cabinet to put this kit into?

Wow , popper looks so cool . What did you do with the kit ? You saving it in the box ? You try out the PCB ?

Was the answer no?

I'd love to see the side art and cab you'd build if you had this kit . What type of cab would you use ? Custom built ?

Sorry for not responding. Right now, the kit is still in the box. I did test the PCB and it's working fine. I definitely would like to find a cabinet for it. But just converting some game with a beat-up cabinet doesn't sound appealing to me. I'm not much for repro cabinets and such, but since this is a kit game, with no dedicated cabinet (that I've ever seen), this might be a case for me to use a new cabinet. No idea what I'd do about side art though.
