hey guys!
i've placed my order with steven three days ago, he confirmed by email, but was still missing some details. when i answered, my email was returned (mail delivery failed) and this hasn't changed over the last three days. i've tried multiple times without success.
anyone experiencing the same problem?

here's what the returned message reads:

SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<[email protected]>:
host arcadeshop.com [69.36.188.111]: 554 5.7.1 Blocked for SPAM:
194.25.134.19 found in bl.spamcop.net (see http://spamcop.net/bl.shtml?194.25.134.19)

spam?

Have you tried to call?

I phoned an order on Friday the 15th and received email confirmation same day. I'd suggest calling, but I did notice your location.... Try a different email address or Compose a new email (not a reply)

I'm lucky enough to live 30 minutes from arcadeshop.
I'm going to pick up a replacement light gun from him tomorrow possibly. I'll mention it to him?

that would just be great!!! not a single email goes through, looks like his mail program somehow put me on the spam list because i had to send him three emails at the same time (didn't want to put my CC details in one mail, therefore the split).

thx for the efforts!

It's not 'his' spam program - for some reason spamcop.net has your ip range listed as belonging to spammers, and his mail server uses spamcop.

Basically, you need to have words with your ISP. It may be that there's a spammer using some system they have, OR it may be that they have a small piece of an IP range and a spammer has another piece of that range OR it may be that spamcop f--d up in some way.

If you want to e-mail arcadeshop, may I suggest a gmail account or similar?

Your ISP has been blocked. The only way you will get in touch with him is by phone or to call HIS ISP and attempt to have the block removed.

You put your Credit Card info over a clear text email? You should have called that in, it's way to easy for someone to steal over email.

As far as the spam list, your ISP is on a blackhole list. Usually it's your ISP that has to get themselves off of one, but sometimes it's damn near impossible. That's the reason I stopped using blackhole lists for the email server I run at work, it's uncontrollable. I'd suggest signign up for a gmail account or some other reputable freemail for future orders, and find a secure way to send payment, not via email.

+1 on the CC... NEVER in email. EVER.

OOPS.

Your ISP either needs to kick some user's ass... or if it's your email system sending it then you need to clean up your computers as they may be infected with shit that is streaming out emails.

i don't have a freaking clue what you guys are trying to tell me - sounds like some kind of foreign language to me ;).

anyway, from what i've understood is that MY isp is blocking my emails and that there's no way to remove it, right?

regarding the CC details: every time i have ordered something from arcadeshop i sent steven my cc details spread over various emails (to minimize risks). is there any other way to contact him besides phoning and emailing? personal messages somehow?

Someone using your internet provider is sending spam causing other internet providers to block your provider. You need to call your provider and complain.

Just got an e-mail from Steven and he _did_ receive some e-mails from you Ully, he's just still going through last weekends e-mail, so I'm sure he'll reply to you.

AOL in Europe ? Nah....

Now I am in trouble contacting Steven.

Strangely there was very quick responses from him during the order.

I placed the order about a month ago and Steven (later) said he had shipped it on october 19.
It is now november 15 and still nothing has arrived and I'm very worried.

Normally shipping about everything from the US to me takes 6-8 days. So it is NOT normal.

Now, I e-mailed Steven two times already to ask if he has a shipping number so I can check with USPS and/or Dutch customs where the hell my stuff is....but he totally ignores my e-mails.

This is my second order with AS and the second time I have a lot of communications problems with Steven.

Very sad. He should take an example from guys like Phoenixarcade, TOG, Bob Roberts etc. who usually reply within a couple of hours or days....

Nothing is as annoying as being ignored when you are in worries....

And of course after the third mail I get a reply and shipping nr.

Immediatly checked the status and it is indicated that it is still in transit to a sorting station in the US.........WTF !?! I this the first time USPS is going to let me down ?
