Alright... so I go visit my friend Dan today to help him with his Pac. I get there and what greets me at his workshop door but a Twilight Zone pinball. I ask him the story on the pin..
Get this...
Someone posted an ESTATE SALE with a bunch of stuff and "pinball" stuffed in the ad. I actually replied to to ad asking what the name of the pinball game was but never heard back. Dan did the same and also didn't hear back, so a couple days later he emailed again. This time a guy called him back and told him it was a Twilight Zone and that they were moving to Hawaii and needed it gone ASAP. $700.
Needless to say he was there the same day with cash in hand. However when he got there the thing wouldn't fire up. The guy he talked to was in Hawaii and his wife was taking care of selling stuff. He asked what she'd take for it since it wasn't working and she replied... "How about $400?".
Dan tells me he almost felt bad handing her the cash aside from the fact that it was quite obvious they were well off (they were moving out of a 5000+ sf house)...
He paid her and brought it home... tinkered with a few things behind the back box... and the damn thing fired up.
He hadn't had time to mess with it and it was in the condition he got it in when I saw it today. OH MY GOD it must be in 8.5/10 condition AS-IS! With a good shop job the thing would EASILY be a 9.5/10 Twilight Zone... for $400...
