Not something we find down under every day.
For a moment you would think that you are looking at a USA built midway space invaders cocktail table that has made its way to the other side of the world.. that's what I thought too.
I just made a discovery that would blow peoples socks off.
It's common knowledge that taito licensed leisure and allied ( Australia) to make the iconic blue and red space invaders cabinets.
And if course the cocktail tables.
But what would take me over the course of over 40 years is to find something so friggin rare it may very well be the last surviving unit... Take a look at the photos... You would think yeah an American midway space invaders table... You are incorrect.
It was actually built by leisure and allied.
I'm still gob smacked and in shock.
First time I ever even knew this existed.
Take a closer look at the last photo under my magnifying glass.
Honestly I'm starting to wonder if this is a one off prototype.
The coin door is different, and the speaker cover.
