I STILL SUCK, but I still managed to beat UMK3 Juggernaut edition 2nd Master tier on very hard with Cyrax.....after 2 hours. A customer complained that I had the game rigged to where you could not beat the game. I am by far not a good UMK3 player and would have my but handed to me by anyone who remotely plays the game, but after nearly 200 credits you can figure out the AI patterns and trick it up. I lowered the gift certificate down to $25 and now everyone hates that kid.....LMAO. I figured if I can beat the game then anyone who plays it regularly can. It took me forever to get past that 3 character endurance round. Stryker, Kitana, and Shang Tsun.......DAMN I WAS SWEATING AFTER THAT ONE. I think I am a decent player against the AI now that I have figured it out, but against people, It is definitely official, I SUCK,,,,LOL

Ok so here is the deal. If you beat UMK3 on novice you can only pick 3 treasures. if you beat it on the second master tier, you can pick all the treasures and not just the first three. I Didn't beat it on warrior or other tier which I am sure would be more than just three treasures but that is the difference in the tier endings.

UMK3 is about the only game I kill everyone on. I have beat it on the hardest settings before. Usually takes a couple continues near the top of the tier. If I am playing to just beat the game, I use smoke. Very easy to beat most rounds with a pattern, including endurance round. Can usually go flawless on that. I will say smoke usually takes a couple tries to win shao khan. I usually pick the option for the endurance round after beating the game. But thats pretty easy to beat with smoke though.

Now if I play again other people, I usually pick smoke, reptile, sub zero (either one) or Kabal. People always hate it when I would go invisible with smoke or reptile. Back when I use to play at VCU, I use to be in the machine forever playing other people. I would usually let them pick my character and I would still win. Was always funny when someone would give me Shang Tsung that didnt know any better, and I would start morphing into all these different characters.

I think the first time I beat the game, I used Cyrax. I dont like using him to much since his combo is pretty easy and its easy to kill people with all the nets and bombs.

I like cyrax because his combo is easy...ha ha, When you have the UMK3 juggernaut upgrade sometimes they put up to 5 endurance rounds and 3 to 4 of them have 3 players you must beat........ I restart the game after that ha ha

The thing I hate most about UMK3 is the AI is programmed to destroy the player. That said, the only way to actually beat the AI is to exploit it to death. There are exploits for every character. Put them in a pattern where they are sucked into a trap and you can just rinse and repeat until they're dead. Kinda makes for a dull game, but yes, you can beat the game on master/very hard, just takes someone whos skillful enough (and patient) to do it through being cheap.

Now, ive also seen some videos of players who can actually play though the game on that difficulty with some honest playing and full on crazy combos, but those are far an few in between to find.
