Ultimarc Amp won't snyc up Orion monitor in Revenge From Mars.

First off, I apologize if I don't get all the tech words right here, but I'm having issues with my Ultimarc Video Amp upgrade.

I've done two of these in the past....different monitors and it normally goes well (in two Revenge from Mars pinballs machines). This last week I can't get this one to stop scrolling.

According to the directions on the Ultimarc website, "identify the location on the PCB marked "CUT for H/V" But I can't find anything on this PCB. On the monitor it says "Orion" but those are the only markings I can find.
Here's the website: http://www.ultimarc.com/vidamp.html

Does anyone know where the trace is to separate the syncs?

Thanks in advance!
Joe

I installed one of the Ultimarc video amps myself a week or so ago. I could not get proper sync either until I cut the H/V trace as suggested on the website. To find the h/v trace, orient the board so that the terminal block is at the top and the vga connector at the bottom. The h/v trace will be at the lower right just above the vga connector. On my board it says "Cut for H/V" right above the trace. You then connect the -V sync to the terminal labeled Sync, and the -H sync to the unlabeled terminal at the end. Hopefully this will work for you as well. Good Luck!

Well, onward on my search. Here's a picture of the chassis. It is a Wells Gardner chassis and still can't find where I suppose to separate the snycs.

You shouldn't need to cut any traces on the monitor. You want to feed the csync wire from the amp to the -H sync connector on the monitor. Looking at the connectors from right to left it would be:

R-G-B-Gnd-Empty-Empty-key-Empty-Empty-Sync

EDIT: and make sure that you didn't accidentally flip your monitor from 15khz to 17khz. That will look like out of sync too.

Crap...I'm a moron! All this time I thought it was on the chassis board. Right on the video amp from Ultramarc....little tiny writing (CUT for H/V).
Sorry guys...and yes thanks, I will check that switch on the khz.

Thanks guys for your help!
