I went from not being able to contain myself... to uh-oh in about 5 seconds once I picked up the shipping box... :(

Whatta bummer... :dead1:

at least it was battlezone. not like anyone really like the game.

nah man that sucks I feel bad :(

Look on the positive side... you have the poster, it's not torn, and only has minor scraps that can be carefully touched-up. The first BattleZone poster I ever found on-line and ordered was promptly lost by USPS. Yes, it was original and these are hard to find. Fortunately, some years later I found another original that now hangs on my wall! :)

Great poster! Now, where can I found a Red Baron or Tempest???

Quick.. someone get that man a Newcastle!!!

Thanks Tim... I was eating at Texas Roadhouse when I got the notification it was delivered... I actually skipped desert just to get home!!! :)

That stinks!! Where did you get it at though? That thing is awesome!

Thanks. I posted a WTB here and mrbill08 had a lead for me to check out and it worked out well(until this at least).

Nice. ;) Like I said, I wanted it to go with the Red Baron poster. There's just something about these Atari posters imho.

Yeah, having it be lost in transit would definitely be a bigger ugh for sure. I'm just bummed because it looks like it was in real decent shape before the glass broke. Like you said... these just aren't very common so finding another one will be tough.

A Tempest just sold on eBay yesterday. (and no, it won't be showing up here...) :)

It was UPS and the packaging didn't look too damaged... I think it took a direct corner shot and it just popped the glass.

The seller already offered a full refund if I return it but man... I'm torn here. These just don't come up for sale very often and I feel like I got a decent deal. I'm going to try a new frame tonight after work and see how it looks. I don't like the Sharpie idea since I think it'll make it look touched up... we'll see though. :dunno:
