u5000 capkit from bob roberts / different values ok?

I'm recapping my dual res u5000 monitor. I've run across a few locations that have existing caps different from what the cap map says from bob roberts:

C107, map says 33uf 160v, board has 100uf 250v hi temp
C115, map says 100uf 200v, board has 100uf 250v hi temp
C616, map says 2200uf 35v, board has 1500uf 35v hi temp

I suspect I should pick up some caps that match what's on the board, but wanted to know if anyone else has run into this from bob roberts. I know he mentions many people id the monitors incorrectly, but I've checked with many people on these forums and where this is a dual res (2 plugs on deflection board), I believe I'm correct in the identification.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well, the first thing to do when you have something like this happen is to check the manual or schematic (if you can find it) to see what is SUPPOSED to be there:

http://www.wellsgardner.com/pdf/Schematics/U5000_25_inch.pdf

Here it shows the following values:

C107 - 33uF 160v hi temp (I had the same issue, and replaced the 33 with another, but I've heard others used the 100 with no problems)
C115 - 100uF 200v (it's no problem replacing it with a higher voltage cap like the 250v, though)
C616 - 1500uF 35v (not a common value and is often replaced with the 2200uF cap which will work fine)

Also, there were some upgrade kits released for the U5000 but these caps didn't have different part values as part of the upgrade:

Installed the cap kit and new flyback. getting nothing... no neck glow. Checked test points. tp203 (B+) is showing less than 1vdc. tp104 (i think..tough to read) is at -38vdc. Any suggestions on where to start? From other threads, i trust this monitor may kick my ass for months before figuring it out :/
