Back story, have a cab with a u2000 in it. I was doing some work on the cabinet so I went ahead and pulled the chassis and did a full cap kit on it. The chassis was working fine before, but I could tell the caps were original, and wanted to do it while I had the cabinet tore apart. Capped the chassis and put it back in and monitor looked and worked great. My buddy was having a birthday part at his place, so we took the cab over there to be played and enjoyed. Everything worked great for about a week. One day his kids were playing it, when they finished their game got board and went inside, and left the game running, my buddy went out about an hour later to turn it off and the screen was blank.

I went and checked it out, only thing I could figure out is that perhaps the new caps put a little bit to much stress on the old flyback and the flyback went out. I looked over the chassis pretty closely and couldn't find any burnt resistors or anything out of the ordinary. I went ahead an replaced the flyback and put it back in. Same response, chassis is not clicking, HOT measures fine with no shorts. I have 138 volts on the B+ tp202.

Anyone have any ideas where to start with this?

After more digging around found r470 burnt. Replaced it and fired the chassis back up, burnt it immediately again.
