Hi guys;
I've got a U2000 I'm working, following Randy's flow chart. I've recapped it, and the issue is I'm getting 0v for my B+. I replaced everything Randy mentions, and reflowed all the solder joints, and I'm still getting nothing. It's not blowing the fuse, and I replaced the flyback. Still nothing. Anybody have any good ideas of a systematic way to check and find which part is likely bad? I've checked all resistors in the power section, all seem in spec, and I've checked all the diodes as well.

Any ideas?

Do you here it ticking? I have not check a randy fromm check list for 20 years so i will start with, did you check the 10,000 ohm resistor?
Did you check the bridge recitfier voltage and see if you have dc voltage out?
Did you disconnect the correct inductor and hook a 60 watt bulb to it and ground to see if you have the correct b+ ? if so then the high voltage section is dropping out your b+ section.
Make sure you dont have a crack joint at your ac plug.
Power off, check continuity from ac plug to bridge rectifiers.
