First off, is there anyone that can possibly even need this?

I have a rebuilt Atari TX-1 PowerBrick/Transformer.

According to KLOV:
"Uncommon - There are 7 known instances of this machine owned by TX-1 collectors who are members. Of these, 4 of them are original dedicated machines, and 3 of them are only circuit boards which a collector could put into a generic case if desired."

Whoever you are out there... PM me if you want this thing. Otherwise, I'm gonna use it as a very expensive boat anchor.

Funspot/ACAM has a working TX-1, but I'm sure Gary Vincent could use spare working parts. Their TX-1 didn't work for about 15 years while Gary patiently waited for a working board set to materialize. You can most easily reach him via ACAM's web site.

What do you want for it shipped to 97367? Could use as a back up for the one we have serial #ooo1 so it would be nice to keep it running. Thanks Darrell

Wow, didn't think I would have anyone interested in this. Thanks for the tip and the response!

PM sent to charger. 0001! WOW! SN on this is 116 I think.

If charger passes it up I'll email Gary.

I ordered a repair kit from the Real Bob Roberts and replaced the Big Blue capacitor, bridge rectifier, wire connectors, fuse bank, and all of the fuses (F1-F6. Incidentally, I had to go find proper fuses for this block as they were not included in the kit.) I also repaired the grounding posts (attached to the load filter) since they were rusted out.

When I got it was in rough shape and it was shipped to me in a flat-rate USPS box. It has some surface rust in one corner but I stripped the whole thing, used Oven Off and a steel brush and cleaned it up as best as I could. The base was also bent... but I straightened it back out. Then I reassembled it. It looks much better than when I received it. The connections are clean and it's ready to go.

Let me take a photo of it tonight, send it to you and figure out how much it weighs.

I'm not looking to profit. I have about $70+ into it (and labor.)

I spent $40 to get it to my door. $23.50+ shipping on the repair kit. And $5 additional on 250V 2A Slow-Blow Fuses.

$75 shipped?

I'm told this can work in other Atari raster games? (Anyone know?)
