Here they are, Millipede and Tetris! Both need a good cleaning, but not too bad overall. Can't wait to get these downstairs with my other machines.
Millipede
Millipede had a monitor "issue" which turned out to be just a test screen switch and a really dark screen. A few adjustments and it looks pretty good now. Matsushita monitor (ugh), but I can live with it. The trackball was pretty horrible. I took apart and cleaned the housing, and the rollers and oiled the bearings, popped them back in, but they still weren't rolling right. Ordered new rollers and bearings from Arcadeshop and they came yesterday. Popped them in the casing and it's as good as new. Marquee light was out, but it just needed a new starter fuse (already had an extra). Bottom of marquee is cracked where it curves around, but I can live with it for now. There's a long scratch across the outer screen, but when you're playing you can't even tell it's there. One of the coin mechs is completely missing, so an eventual replacement is forthcoming. Side art on one side is near perfect, other side needs a little work on the (off)white part but not too bad (bondo?)
Tetris
Tetris is in a Dynamo cab, but it looks like this was straight from Atari Corp b/c the original factory stickers and serial numbers from Atari are still intact on the back of the machine. After opening it up, it was really clean inside! Pretty well cared-for overall. The screen does a little "dancing in and out" once in a great while, esp. after you start it up, but it goes away after a game or two. Might have to look into the connections. I'll eventually replace the plexiglass on the CP, as it's cracked in many places.
