Picked up a couple of Ms. Pac-Mans locally. One converted to a 6-in-1 already, the other all original and none-working. Decided to polish these up and do a bit of a variation on the color scheme. Not looking to make museum pieces out of these, just really nice looking clean cabs that will look great wherever they end up.

Cab #1 Original Ms. Pac-Man

Cab #2 Ms. Pac-Man Converted to Jamma Multi. Screen partially collapsed when I picked it up.

Got to work on the Ms. Pac board and managed to get it up and running as a standard Pac-Man board without the daughter card.

Moving further into the repair I seemed to have a bad socket so I went about installing a new one.

Unfortunately that didn't solve the problem and the board just got worse the more I messed with it so I gave it to a friend to repair who's much smarter than me at this kind of thing.

Another buddy hooked me up with a working original Ms. Pac board for $50 :D so that helped me get back in business while the other board is repaired.

Got my baby blue art pack back from the printer, I'm pretty happy with the way the colors came out. (Later I would realize that my side art is completely the wrong size, it was too small and would have to be redone  )

I've used this color combination in the past for another little project that some people may recognize...

Touched up the control panel on the original Ms. Pac, cleaned all the buttons and stick. Painted the carriage bolts black and installed the new polycarb CPO.

I was able to install the kick panel from the art pack (At least I didn't screw up all my sizes) and I'm pretty happy with the way this is looking. Once the sides are done the same and the pink T-Mold is on this is going to make a really pretty cab.

While I wait for the new art to come back I got to work on the multi cab. The G07 had partial vertical collapse. I did a full recap hoping it would solve the problem but...

Seems the issue may be transistor or resistor related in the 400's section of the board. So I went back and tried to reflow that whole area and now the damn G07 wont even fire up, so I've screwed the pooch somewhere on this one. The tube was pretty badly burned so i just bit the bullet and pulled a spare monitor off the shelf.

It's at least up and running but I'll need to revisit the monitor issue at a later date.

Also the marquee light kept blowing bulbs, so I removed it and installed a whole new fitting that I got from Amazon. (Not installed in the above pic yet).
