And the answer is... YES!!!

A Frogger cocktail and a Centipede (converted to an Arkanoid: Revenge of DOH) cocktail were both loaded into my wife's PT cruiser for their journey to their new home...mine! The machines didn't hit each other and the back door closed. A few inches more and it wouldn't have been pretty.

I don't remember what the verdict was in the "can you get an upright into a pt cruiser" thread the other week, nice to see that the question posed in this one is a happy "hell yes". :) Nice pickups, they both look to be in great shape.

The machine (Phoenix UR) I was going to load in my PT got snapped up the day before I was gonna pick it up, so the mystery remains.

That's cool that those cocktails fit so nicely.

For a small vehicle, the PT has some superb utility.

Yeah, you take those seats out and you end up with a ton of room you never had before.

As for the condition of the machines, right now they need work...lots of work. Frogger's monitor is nice and the game plays decent, but there's no sound right now and I haven't found the volume adjustment yet (must be buried in there somewhere). And it needs a replacement top glass as well.

Arkanoid: Revenge of DOH had it's sound working when I tested it and now I can't get that to play. The monitor was said to work days before (I got these yeterday), but had since gone out for some unknown reason. So I have no visuals on this one so far.

They're fixer-uppers definitely, but I got them "as is" for a great price, so they will be my pet projects for a while before they're in "showable" condition. I'll get some as-is pics up before then.

Are you keeping it as a Revenge of Doh, or are you going back to centipede?

For now I'm keeping it a Revenge of DOH. Main reason: Its' easier and cheaper at this point. I'm not looking to replace any more than I have to for the initial restore. Another reason is that I'm really fond of the Arkanoid series of games. Plus I really want to play Revenge of DOH with a real spinner control instead of a mouse or trackball.

If I get bored with the game or want a new conversion project at some point, there's always the option of turning it back into a Centipede.
