I'm trying again, with a more descriptive subject.

Has anyone seen the Pacman bezels made by two-bits? I know everyone hates their Ms. Pacman stuff, and I know that I can probably get a used pacman bezel. But I'd still like feedback on these repro bezels.

So has anyone seen them? Are they correct? Almost correct? Sucky as hell?

So I've found one reference from three years ago saying that the ghosts were missing from the instructions. I haven't found any other comments, good or bad.

Has no one here seen one in all this time?

yeah, they are not accurate. the instructions and points areas on each side are missing the ghosts, and some text too i think. plus, they're way too expensive.

Didn't I answer this last time you asked? I've used them. They're acceptable if you need one. 99% of people who come to your house won't notice because they won't have an original to compare to. They are glass, and for some reason the white backing they use on the backside is extra thick now (compared to a few years ago), I guess to help protect from the flaking the originals had?

And yes, they are very expensive - but who else sells tempered-glass bezels? If you have to have one, or just want a nice one so you can sell yours for top dollar, they'll be fine.

BTW - as far as the inaccuracies of the art - you DO realize these are copyrighted and okayed for resale by Namco, right? Namco approved them as they are now. Don't be surprised that they don't match the Midway ones exactly. Probably some junior executive who's first game was MK2 looked at it and said, "Yeah, that looks good." without actually comparing it to the original...
