Picked these up a couple weeks ago from Mr. Tim and boy did he let the deals fly! ;) They were both non-working when they arrived home but neither had anything fatal and are now 100% working.

The Mr. Do is done. As in, I'm not touching it anymore except to play. The Moon Patrol has some cabinet issues and will be worked on once the weather gets nicer but for now we are just going to enjoy playing it. :)

Thanks go to Tim for the great deal and Joe for the spare parts I used in getting both games going.

Forgot to add that if anybody wants the wood grain Universal cabinet that's pictured on the Mr. Do page, it's yours for free. It's completely stripped but will include the bronze-looking control panel that came with it. Overall it's in nice shape except for a few lock bar holes around the coin door.

Dedicated Mr. Do! = awesome machine.

And I love playing Moon Patrol.

You know, Ive never played Mr Do. Those Moon Patrol cabs are cool. Love the color and stencils.

Great scores. I picked up a dedicated Mr Do a couple months back. It was probably my most sought after game since I started collecting. Moon Patrol is currently in the top 3 for games I want to get, so you picked up a couple of real gems- well done!

Both are great games! Nice to see a dedicated Mr. Do. Moon Patrol is definitely on my list of games to get. Enjoy!

Nice pickups!

I'm not a big Do fan in terms of gameplay but the music/sounds are some of the best around. Moon Patrol absolutely rules altogether.

Nice finds! Congrats! Good looking cabs! I'd love a Mr. Do and a Moon Patrol. They're awesome games.

Wow, look at all the Mr. Do! and Moon Patrol love! :240: I'm glad to see we're not the only ones who love us some Do! I really didn't care for the game too much BITD but after seeing/hearing the family play it soo much it's grown on me. The son loves "all things intermission" and my daughter loves the overall "niceness" of the game.

BTW, forgot to thank JROK on our Mr. Do! page for making his high score save available to the masses. :beerchug:

I already told you in person, but those are both really nice. Love the Mr. Do!

Thanks Casey! And just so you know... the reason I stopped in yesterday during lunch was to do the Do! high score mod... and it worked like a charm thanks to that fancy desoldererer of yours. :001_scool:

If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and get the Moon Patrol HSS kit. It gives the game so much more meaning. It also makes you try harder, because your score will be there for all to see.

Seriously. The FIRST thing I ask myself when walking into someone's house is:

A) Do they have a Moon Patrol?

then

B) I wonder if they suck at it?

Oh yeah, I agree high score saves make you try harder. I cheaped out and went with Jason's free play and single high score save mod. instead of the full blown kit. I'm having problems with the NVRAM though so I may end up going that route in the end.

Who is this "Tim" you are talking of... and why does he give you such good deals?

:D:D:D

Hey! Show some respect! That's Mr. Tim to you! :secruity:

And to answer your question... I have no idea... I think he wants me to blow out my one and only good knee taking a 700lb cabinet down a flight of stairs, load it up in my little truck, and deliver it like 14-1/2 hours away or something. :)

Or the alternative answer to your question is...
