Twin Galaxies Website (duct tape, bandaids, and dental floss)

Has anyone ever been able to completely use the TG website?

I'm try'ng to log into it (again) to ask (again) if a new game could be added to the arcade tracking (again)... it's been almost a month and I haven't heard a peep back from them one way or the other.

Besides that the site is in an almost perpetual state of "broke"... one way or the other... I can log in but the score board search doesn't work... the search works, but can't find most of the games, I can't log in but the score board works... it's just one thing or the other.

Has anyone been able to actually see the site working 100%? Is it just me? I've tried on, well... this will be my 3rd computer, tried in IE, tried in FireFox, tried on Linux, tried on Vista, tried on XP...

The forums are almost never looked at (is seems)...

Just venting... I'm pretty much done for now.

I've had the same problems for years.

Searching for scores or games is hard too. Put a space in a name where it does not belong and you get nothing. Putting no space when you need one and the nothing again. Key word searches don't seem to work well either. That's if you even get them to work.

Then when it does work it's only for a while. After browsing the records for a while it'll crash and show jibberish. I have to close windows and try to find where I left off. Though I can continue to browse any other site this one wont work until I close and restart.

And yeah, the forums are slow.

It's not just you. We're brothers in this one.

I don't have major problems there, though it is a clumsy site. The main thing that irritates me is that when you start typing a game in the search box that you have typed before, the auto-complete option comes up, but you can't use it. For example, if you start typing "Pa" then the auto-complete option "Pac-Man" will appear. If you select it and hit enter; instead of filling the search field in with "Pac-Man", it leaves "Pa" in there and searches for that (no results of course). Another thing that is annoying is that you can't copy and paste names and scores from the main score listings.

The forums do move surprisingly slow there too; by far the slowest of the 4 videogame-related forums I use (KLOV, BYOAC, AA, and TG).
