I changed out the batteries on all my pins a couple months ago and just remembered today that it reset the attract modes to the off position. When I got to Twilight Zone, I couldn't find anything labeled "attract mode", but did find "a-mode sound" and "a-mode music". I assumed that these would control the attract mode, but after turning them both on I got no sounds or music. And now that I think of it, I can't remember if it ever had a musical attract mode. So A) Does it have a musical attract mode, and B) What do a-mode sound and a-mode music do?

I also remember being a bit unsure when all I saw was "a-mode music" and "a-mode sound".

Turned both on when I got the machine and I had the attract mode sounds, usually hear the opening signature notes of the Twilight Zone TV show theme, real quick though. Pretty sure I also hear the golden Earring song that plays a bit longer.

I'm going to guess that the "a-mode sound" is categorized as the quick TV show theme notes.

"a-mode sound" is when the flippers are pressed you will hear a old car honking its horn,"a-mode music" is two different clips of the twilight zone tv theme music and they usually play every 8-10 minutes but are very short. What i have noticed is when you boot up the machine and you do not play a game you will not hear any attract music. When you play a game and that game is over and leave the machine it will start playing attract music every 8-10 minutes.Mike

Ah, that helps explains it, and is just what I discovered.

I just finished playing for a solid hour, left the game on while I worked on another pin and this is what I heard.

-After ~7 mins: TZ intro notes "doo doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo"

-After ~14 mins: TZ outro notes: "doodoo doo dooooooo"

-Completey silent for the next 40 mins.

No Golden Earring song playing at all, just the short bursts of the TV show theme.

The golden earring song is only played during gameplay.I wish it played in the attract mode

Thanks for the help guys. I waited a good 15 minutes for something, but didn't play a game first. I'll have to give mine a try this afternoon.
