I picked up this tv that my neighbor put out at the street. It is a Sharp Linytron manufactured in 1988. The tube uses the CR31 socket (B+K adaptor) or Socket 5 (Sencore CR7000) I've been told that this tube will work for swapping tubes with a K7000 slim neck monitor. Here are some pictures:

If it's got 8 pins and a yoke that matches exactly yeah but you might need to use the 7000's matching yoke.

K7000 series 19".
8 pin - vertical impedance is 13 ohms. <-- pulled from an old thread from Ken Layton

I think it is pretty close. It would be worth a try. Worst case scenario you'd just damage the yoke. Of course, we don't have any info on the horizontal impedence yet.

Found this old thread...messed with some K7000s last night (didn't really want to but I need a K7000 to fit in a cab made for it). Anyhow, seems most thin neck K7000s I've come across are 2.2ohms horizontal and 13 ohms vertical. That tv would prob be a direct swap with very little issue. I'll add this to my donor list.

That would probably be a good swap for the:

K7203

H: 2.3-ohms
V: 15.8-ohms

And for those who may wonder:

K7201

H: 2.5-ohms
V: 6.8-ohms
