Tutankham price check???

I'd say 100-250. 250 being near mint. Somewhat rare but not a ton of folks who want one.

Just saw the one in the for sale section sold for $300. So that one was worth $300 to someone.

I love the game. I wish it were more in demand. I got my near museum quality Tut for $250 on a Buy it Now local to me on eBay. I think it was a steal. Probably wasn't.

I bought one for $75. Traded it away, and 2 weeks later one popped up on CL for $110. That game, while a classic, does not seem to command very much.

Ive owned more than 6 Tutankhams.. I never seen them sell that cheap, $300-$400 would be the average price for them in good condition. Have them at "Tutankham - Dedicated upright Only $350-$450. Collector/ebay price." on my price guide.
Yeah, you can get lucky and pick them up at $75. That doesnt mean thats the price. Ive purchased a Quantum for $100 too, but doesnt mean its valued at $100.

I think the biggest factor in determining the price is the condition of the sword sideart.

I'm just stating facts. I've seen 3 for sale in the last 2 years in my state. I bought the 1 for $75, I passed on one at $175, and 1 popped up THIS WEEK for $110. The average price on those 3 working Stern Tutankhams is $120 over a 2.5 year period. I can't argue with the numbers. How many does it take to get an average? How many years does one have to collect data before they have a good idea of definitive value? Do you take your average from different locations and years?

I think that people always found it too hard. The fact that you cannot shoot up or down substantially increases the difficulty on this game, particularly when you pass several levels and the enemy is drastically tuned up. Also, there were a lot of other great games that gave you more play for your quarter that came out around the same time.

The graphics are great for when that game came out. The music and sound effects are outstanding, in my opinion.

Two games I always loved back in the day were Tut and Bagman. Both very, very difficult and both sort of viewed in the same light.
