I got this machine with the other one, (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?p=1054830#post1054830) and it doesn't work either.
When I turn it on, there is a quick flash on the screen and that is it. No sound, nothing else. It looks like the power supply has been changed at some time. Does anyone know what type of power supply it has? Any tips or advice?
It has a few bare wires. I was wondering if anyone knows what voltages to check for, and where do I do the voltage check.
Thanks again.

I have no voltage at all of the terminals on the vertical box (switchable power supply?). Only two of the 7wires coming out of the transformer? are being used, and they run up to the cabinet safety switch. What voltage should I see coming out of the transformer? AC or DC?

Make sure the bottom drawer is closed all the way. Push it closed, hold it with you foot and power it on. If it still flashes on and off, put your red lead on the 5V terminal on the switcher, and the black lead on the ground terminal. Make sure the game is powered on and the drawer interlock switch is pulled out.

Ok I got. I pulled it out. 114vac going in, nothing going out.
Should I start turning the adjustment screw, or is it a lost cause.

Just checked inside the box, and the little fuse is still good. Back of the board a few solder joints look a little "rusty" or corroded.

Pulled out? Do you mean pushed in?

No, you'll have to have the drawer open to test it. The switch can either be pushed in or pulled out if it's a standard interlock. Are you metering the DC? 5V? Screw terminals. Even if the switcher's dead, they're easy to replace, but test the 5V SCREW TERMINAL FIRST.

Update...
I just put in a new switcher power supply, and it works! Thanks for the help on this one.
