My tut pcb just blinks different solid screens of colors and you

hear the game playing in the background.

Anyinsight on which ic has failed or theories?

Thanks.

make sure you have the connector right on the monitor input.
check all the connectors on the power supply for any burning/heat.
check the pins inside the connectors for oxidation and weak pins.
check the power supply for proper output voltages.

I have a nearly complete Tut boardset that you can have for $20 shipped. All the chips are good and there, it just has some traces broken on the underside of the PCB due to warping. The previous owner only had one PCB foot installed, and the heat caused it to warp as it wasn't secured on all 4 corners. I know the chips are good because I tested them, and if you flex the board just right, the game comes up.

Added info

All voltages ,pins etc are ok.

My pcb set also was not hooked down on the smaller top pcb.

I will try the flex test soon.

Also as I posted a few weeks ago the screen comes up normal at 4.2

volts, but has problems during game play like going through walls and bitmap

errors. There is a board on eBay right now that has similar problems.

I love this game and need to get it 100 percent.

Video of problem now on utube

Simply search for tutankham trouble on youtube to see this PCB and my game having some problems.

Thanks.
