FS Game: Turtles in Time arcade (Now $1250)

Yours may be a variant. But doesn't a dedicated TMNT Turtles in Time usually has 2 speaker grills?

Unfortunately, the sticker says TMNT. But does not specify Turtles in Time (or if I recall, "TMNT 2"). A random image from the internet doesn't really prove much either; I can also find a random image on the internet that shows two speaker grills for Turtles in Time.

In any case. I was just curious if it was a variant or not. Good luck with your sale.

I used the image from the link. The link is for the image on the KLOV site.

You are spot on! The serial tag will read Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles II and the dedicated cabinet will have stereo sound. I've had both dedicated cabinets in my collection over the years.

We're again posting more pictures that really don't prove anything. If you scroll down more on the same page, you'll see another TMNT TiT cabinet. Does that mean it's a dedicated cab too? In any case, good luck on your sale. I sincerely apologize for crapping up your thread.

Your responses in the thread are actually productive and I don't think you are being malicious at all. I was aware that TIT cabs came in stereo with two speaker grills but after seeing so many pics of TIT cabs with one grill and the klov museum site featuring two with one grill I thought otherwise. I can tell by looking at the art that it was original and not repro. There is no art underneath, only wood. I've had sunset riders cabs that were factory converted and had TMNT art underneath. This isn't the case with this cab. I'll update the listing so that the ad isn't misleading. Thanks

Thanks for your reply, I was hoping someone would chime in that has owned a dedicated TIT cab. In all my years collecting this was the only one I've actually seen in person.

I personally like the TiT side art and remember seeing one only one time while in Orlando. There are a few things about TMNT cabs that vary slightly from other Konami cabs. The power supply on games made after TMNT usually have the computer style power suppply with removable power cord. On TMNT it used the screw terminal type power supppies mounted inside the cabinet on a piece of wood along with the isolation transformer. The other thing is how the k7000 monitor frame is not all metal and has a wooden base that the chassis mounts too. I'd have to believe other games used those k7000 monitors but for me it always makes me think of TMNT with that monitor frame style.
Icharlie06 good luck with the sale. :)

Thank you for all the great info. I love learning more about Konami cabs. This cab was obtained from a member here without a CP or any interior parts. I bought a tmnt Cp, TIT pcb, monitor and power supply/transformer are from a dedicated Simpsons cab and a Konami wiring harness. I planned on doing a 6 in 1 set up but I need to raise some funds.

I'm willing to work out a deal on this and throw in the xmen pcb
