Turbo repair help

Yeah. Everything else seems fine. All I get on the monitor is a black and white scrolling effect though.

Check the lines from the board into the monitor and make sure none of the wires are snipped or pulled from the harness, could also be a sync issue so make sure to check the sync lines besides from the RGB lines. Other than that I'm not sure. I do have a semi-working turbo mini but the board spits out crazy gibberish and goes bonkers. I've tested the power supply and it seems fine, looking to get another board to test. If you wanna ship your board to me I could test it and rule out the board/monitor and ship it back. My only concern is if my PSU is off I don't want to damage your board. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestions. I do have a Xevious next to this thing and I may connect it to the Turbo monitor when I get the chance to see what's up.

Hey Dethfactor. I used to spend a lot of time out in Portage. I spent a lot of my vacation time at my grandparents out there.

Thanks again.

There's a small optical board where the pedal is. There are a few little wires soldered there. One of them could've broken loose, or the optics themselves might be dirty. Or the whole little board might be bad. Start with the little things first...especially if it was working previously.

The gas pedal also won't work if you have light shining into the game. Is the back door off by any chance?

Ha nice. I just picked up a Turbo and have been convinced the gas doesn't work. Maybe that's because I haven't put the door back on. Thanks for posting that, hopefully it works!

Finally got my Turbo going. Turns out I had two bad tubes. Found someone getting rid of some Sanyo monitors and worked perfectly.

I forgot what a tough game it is.

Nice! Putting the back door on fixed my gas pedal. Now I just need to chase some bugs around the audio board and amp.
