Turned on my turbo outrun the other day for the first time in a few months and noticed that the sound wasnt working correctly. All you could hear was like a hum or static coming out of the speakers. Havent messed with it as of yet but what would you suggest? Thanks.

First thing I'd do is take off the marquee (assuming you have an upright) to verify the QDs are connected to the speakers solidly, then follow the wiring down the cabinet, looking fo any other connectors along the way (and un-plugging/re-plugging any I find).

If Turbo OutRun is anything like OutRun (certainly if it's a converted OutRun...) there's an audio amplifier in the bottom of the cabinet. I'd make sure that the amp is getting the 12V it requires to operate. (and also check the connections between the amp and the main PCB).
