Turbo Outrun Mini - 5k Potentiometers for steering/pedals

Anyone have a source for these 5K ohm pots part number 220-5130 for steering/pedals on Sega Turbo Outrun and friends? The pot on my steering makes it impossible to play the game right now.

There's an alternate part #, 220-5373. This shows on several sites $22-$36 range - are they truly that expensive?

Thanks!

You are not forced to use original highly priced spare parts: pots are only variable resistors, so you can use almost every linear, single turn, 6 mm diameter shaft potentiometer out there

Thanks Baritonomarc. I found this one and installed it yesterday. I did have an issue where it drifted from center once, not sure what's causing that, but otherwise the game is playable.

Pic shows the new vs the old. Definite difference in heft.

If the pot is not tighly blocked, it can drift.
The most common problem with pots is signal jumping from the value to min or to max, not a drifting.

They were pretty expensive coming over from Sega Japan. I highly recommend using these as opposed to a substitute. I'm guessing you were replacing original pots, never before changed. How long did they last? That is why the expense. Before working at Sega I operated. I used non Sega pots occasionally when drawer of originals was empty. They didn't last like original parts.
