i just got this today and was playing it then all the sudden the game isnt getting any feedback from the accelrator. steering is fine and it still makes the sound affect when i shift so thats still good. just no throttle. i looked in there and nothing looks disconnected

Welcome to the club, I'm restoring one of those!

I've got the pedal assembly out of mine at the moment, I'll have to post some pics so you might get an idea on what you're working with.

cool, i seen it on CL for $100 and just had to grab it :)

the screen is nice, has nice art and plexi and everything "was" working. the coin mech was even still hooked up, the guy just pulled the two wires and was tapping them together everytime he wanted to add a credit

the accelrator mechanism is somewhat burried and hard to see so id apperciate some pics and if you need any refrence shots of mine id be happy to post them

It's an optical based assembly, that much I remember off hand. It has a plate with notches that passes between two sets of optical sensors if I remember correctly, one for high gear and one for low, so it may be as simple as dust being stuck between them or just a poor connection/broken trace on its small circuit board. Either way it should be an easy fix, there's not much circuitry involved, at least at the pedal itself.

As far as pics I might need some of the monitor, how it mounts and how to video board connects to it might be useful, mine came without the screen and with some adaptation I'm probably going to give it one from a Monaco GP. If you ever stumble upon a source for side art too let me know, although I get the impression nobody reproduces it.

Look at my post under monaco gp pedal problems.

All the pictures are there.

Still cant figure out how to adjust mine to the right "setting" to allow full pedal press to be full throttle.

here are the pics. The 4 black wires should be attached on optic board. I had to re solder mine.

The Turbo pedal is different from the GPs, it works on the same basic idea but is mechanically set up another way.
