Turaco sprite editor for Windows

Tazmania opened correctly for me, too!
I tried changing games from Tazmania to Piranha, but it crashes when I click "continue" on the "are you sure?" prompt. Clicking "cancel" at the prompt goes back to editing.
I can open either Piranha or AntEater when I first start the app, but it gives weird sprites. (I'm using roms I've got on the BitKit, not sure if that matters)
Larger ones like DigDugAT will crash the program almost every time. When it doesn't crash immediately, though, it shows the correct sprites.
 
I have just published a new release with much more robust memory management, and many more debug messages. DigDug now loads but the palettes don't work properly yet: I'm not sure what the problem is (I have looked deeply into the INI file to see if it is correct). I'd be interested to know if there are other games that are giving trouble, and that could help me to debug a bit more.
 
I just tried this rev. and had the same issues with it crashing/not opening larger roms (ie DigDugAT).
Any testing you'd like me to do?

DigDugAT now loads for me but doesn't decode the palettes correctly (see screen below). Examples of other games that don't load correctly (or even better which crash the app) would be useful to help me debug. 1764834941193.png
