Tubular Locks

it will be a lot cheaper to bring the machine to a locksmith then to have him come to you, even if it is a pain to bring the whole machine. most will do house calls, but charge way more than they should for a few minutes work.

drilling it out is probably the best bet, then you just need to find a replacement lock.

Anybody have any ideas how open one without a key?

I still like the mirror and socket/chain-of-extensions idea. I would at least give it a try. I know I would be impressed if it actually worked. Remove the nut from the back of the lock.

That lock will be a pain in the ass to drill but that would be my next logical option personally.

Burt, you may want to pose this question in the Arcade section. It has been asked and answered many times in the Arcade section, and a lot of folks will chime in with things for you to try.

Tubular locks are easy to drill out. Start out with a small bit (like 1/4), drill a little guide how in the center of the lock, and then move on to a larger diameter bit that will chew up the center cylinder. The lock should then fall out.

Or if you want to get fancy, buy one of these.
