Hey, is a tube considered boned if you can't get it to degauss even after using an external degaussing tool?

If I put a solid red picture on my monitor, the first 1/3 is green (vertically), and the rest is red except for a patch of blue on the top right.

what gives? :(

I suppose there's a chance it may not be a degaussing issue (hard to guess w/o a picture). Read up on color purity adjustment for your monitor.

Also, your metal monitor frame may have become magnitized. I'm not sure of a way to fix it, except for swapping frames. AFAIK, manual (and automatic) degaussing coils are only for the shadow mask inside the tube.

Turn the game 90 degrees. Then try again.
