Hey everyone, I have the chance of getting a cheap old Panasonic 19" wood grain crt tv, the tube is in good shape but the electronics are not and for $10 I was thinking of picking it up to atleast have the tube for a tube swap

But I don't know if the tube is compatible or not, the model of the tv is CTK-1942R, has anyone come across this model before and used its tube?

The model of the TV is totally irrelevant. You need to open the TV and look at the model on the tube itself. Then check that tube model here:

And even then you may still have to swap yokes.

Junknet (link above) can tell you if your model TV will have a compatible tube inside but your model does not come up.

Either way...the only surefire way is the model on the tube.

And only way to do that would be to buy it and then I will be stuck with a tv I don't want, I guess it's a toss up

okay going to pick it up tomorrow and will get the tube number and see what is wrong with it, here is a picture of the issue it has, the listing states it was dropped in the past but the tube seems fine and is working so i shall see tommorrow

90% chance you'll be able to use that tube in a monitor.
Good find.
