I'm going to try and swap out my Jen Shinn 25" tube. I have a sharp tv 25" with tube A63AFW32X in it. It has same pins and raised letters 25 V 100 as Jen Shinn. I measured the ohms from the 4 pin connecter on each tube. Jen Shin has 1.2 r/b and 6.7 g/y. The tv has 1.2 r/b and 7.6 g/y. I would like to try not messing with the yokes. Are these numbers close enough? If so I just need to take rings from Jen Shinn and put them on Sharp correct?
Thank you in advance

I believe those numbers are close enough. You do not need to touch the rings. You will only need to swap the chassis and neckboard to the new tube, also be suer and reconnect the degauss coil.

One coil matches, and the other is within 10%. As a first-timer to tube-swapping, I had good results with similar tolerances on a 19" last week. I'd go for it.

Yeah do it man, that's good enough. Your vertical is the different number, and you can adjust vertical height very easily on a monitor so it's no big deal. You may get a slightly distored image, but it should be close.

Thanks for the replys. I will give it a go and posts results.

Perfect swap, wasn't bad at all. Awesome picture now. Thanks for the input..

What was the impedance on the yoke you have, I have a Jenn Shin 329 and just want to make sure what kind of yoke to use.
